FEATURES OF THE PISTOL
This silhouette is recognisable to anyone who has ever seen films or games about police and Mafia clashes. The 92 model is a classic design that shooters love for its ergonomics and multi-round magazine. These advantages were adopted by the pneumatic Borner.
The model was made in a mass-produced 4.5 mm calibre for gas cylinder models. The pistol fires copper-plated and steel pellets. The prevalence of pellets makes it possible to replenish the ammunition for little money.
The same applies to the energy source - a 12-gram can of carbon dioxide. The peculiarity of the pistol is its economy - the pneumatic Beretta will fire up to 70 bullets before the air is consumed.
It is powered by a 20-ball magazine. The design of the storage device is separate from the gas cylinder unit - this allows the user to have several spare magazines without the need to equip it with additional cans.
To get the Borner 92 air pistol ready for use, unscrew the plug near the end of the handle with an Allen key. Next, a can is placed in the cavity, with the neck facing inwards, towards the needle of the valve group. The only thing left to do is to put the stopper back in place by quickly tightening it.
The pneumatic Borner has a monolithic plastic body. By reducing the number of moving parts, the manufacturer has improved the accuracy and velocity of the weapon - the pistol delivers 120 metres per second.
As in the original prototype, the replica has a double-action USM - it can be fired both with a preliminary cocking and in semi-automatic mode. The first type will help to achieve accuracy, the second - rapidity.
Two-position safety. When set to Fire mode, the weapon is ready to fire. You can also determine the combat position by the red colour of the translator.
The Borner 92 pistol can be equipped with a sight picture or flashlight - there is a special groove in the front of the frame for this purpose. The standard sights are a front sight and rear sight.
