In 1526, Bartolomeo Beretta (Italian: Bartolomeo Beretta), Master of Weapons Management, from the small Italian town of Gardone, located in the picturesque Trompia Valley (Italian: Gardone Val Trompia) received 296 ducats for 185 arquebuses from the Venetian arsenal. This was the first documented commercial step that began the history of the world's oldest weapons company, Fabbrica dArmi Pietro Beretta. And the original of the first account is still kept in the archives of the family. One of the fundamental concepts of the company is a half-jokingly underlining the fact that America was discovered at the end of the fifteenth century and just started to take the first steps in its history, and after only thirty years, “Beretta” was already quite famous weapon manufacturer of the Old World. The main plant of the company - Beretta Uno (the first production complex) produces more rifled and smooth barrels than all the factories and workshops of Italy combined. Production capacity of the company covers more than 76,000 square meters. To understand the production volumes of small statistics - about 900 smooth-bore guns are produced at the Beretta Uno factory per day. After five centuries, the hunting and sporting weapons of the Italian masters of this company won recognition in our country. The starting point in the history of the Ukrainian arms business was 2008, when Beretta chose STVOL, an armory company known to many, as its partner and exclusive representative on the territory of Ukraine. Thus, the whole range of brands united in the “Beretta Group” is fully represented by the Odessa company in the Ukrainian market: BERETTA (Italy), BENELLI (Italy), FRANCHI (Italy), SAKO (Finland), TIKKA (Finland), STOEGER (Turkey ), STOEGER AIRGUNS (Turkey), BURRIS (Germany), STEINER (Germany).
