Mtech USA Knives is an American knife company that manufactures a variety of knives, kerabits, machetes, axes and gear. Factories are located in China. The main direction - affordable, beautiful and reliable models. All folding knives of the company M-Tech made of steel 3Cr13. This is stainless steel, which is a modified steel grade 440A, hardened to a hardness of about 57 HRC. Due to the increased carbon content, its cutting properties exceed 420J2. Particularly noteworthy is the American quality of the knives made of steel 3Cr13. The blade is rather thin and elastic. This confirms the proposition that high-quality hardening and machining are often more important than the grade (chemical composition) of steel.
