The state-owned research and production association “Fort” of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine was established in 1994 to manufacture firearms and special equipment for the needs of the security forces of Ukraine. For fifteen years of existence, the company has significantly expanded its product range. At the moment, KNPO "Fort" of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine is engaged in the production of small arms and ammunition, in addition, a significant part of the manufactured products is a traumatic weapon for the civilian market. The main part of the company's products is export-oriented, therefore, in order to meet the high demands of international markets, special attention is paid to the introduction of advanced materials and production technologies in order to improve the quality and characteristics of the products.
